For girls, Eau de toilette does not have the lasting strength of parfum, as the concentration of essences are around 14 per cent. This is less expensive than parfum and is the most popular way we enjoy our fragrance.

For guys, it is generally too strong for the face and should be sprayed from the neck down allowing the fragrance to develop.

Looking after your fragrance

If you look after your scent it will last up to 5 years, which probably means you'll run out of it before it actually goes off. The trick is to keep all fragrances away from direct sunlight: This breaks down the scent's natural essences. Ideally keep all fragrances in a dark cupboard - such as a bathroom cabinet; or if it's on a shelf, keep the bottle in its box.
